Kappa Delta is thrilled to establish the Theta Nu Chapter at Purdue University, and we are excited to be a part of a longstanding tradition of excellence on campus. We can’t wait to become a part of this prestigious and welcoming community, and are counting down the days until the process begins. The women that join Kappa Delta at Purdue will leave a lasting legacy on campus forever!
One unique aspect of joining a new chapter is that there are leadership opportunities available from the very beginning. Within four weeks of bid day, there will be opportunities for new members to hold a leadership position. There are 10 council offices, several appointed offices and numerous committees. The council positions include: President, VP-Member Education, VP-Membership, VP-Operations, VP-Community Service, VP-Public Relations, VP-Standards, Secretary, VP-Finance and Panhellenic Delegate.
Kappa Delta truly lasts for a lifetime, not just your collegiate years. Our network spans across the world, and anytime you meet an alumna, there is an instant connection just knowing that you share something as special as Kappa Delta.
At Purdue, you will have the opportunity to be a founding member of Kappa Delta. Members will get to set the precedent of excellence for their chapter, as well as create traditions that will be around for many years to come! Kappa Delta will also be a part of the outstanding and welcoming Purdue Fraternity and Sorority community. KDs will participate in all fraternity and sorority events on campus and other fraternity and sorority philanthropy events. Kappa Delta is very thankful to have this opportunity, and we can’t wait for the journey to begin!
