Dear Potential New Member,
On behalf of the Panhellenic community, my Kappa Delta sisters, and myself, we are all so excited to meet you during formal recruitment and learn what makes you, you! These organizations have impacted each Panhellenic sister in ways we never could have imagined, and we can’t wait to show you all of the amazing Panhellenic organizations that exist here on campus.
You’re about to begin an exciting journey to find your forever home, and while joining a sorority is filled with fun memories, it is also a serious and important decision. No matter which chapter you pick, it will be an organization that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. As you go through formal recruitment in the fall, think about what you could bring to each chapter, and what each chapter could give to you. Ask sisters in each sorority what they love about their chapter, their sisters, or their philanthropy. You can learn so much about a chapter just by asking questions! In that same light, follow your heart and be unapologetically yourself. You’ll hear it a thousand times, but it really is true: trust the process. The women of each chapter want to know who you are; if you pretend to be someone you’re not, not only will you be cheating each chapter out of truly knowing the incredible woman you are, but you’ll also be cheating yourself out of finding your perfect fit - somewhere you can always be yourself, find your lifelong best friends, and grow as a collegiate woman.
The sisters of Kappa Delta are so excited to show you what makes up the sorority that we hold so near and dear to our hearts. We all wish you the best of luck as you embark on your recruitment journey. As always, go confidently!
All the best,
Vice President of Membership
